In 1987, a group of Brazilian fans of American comics decided to leave their careers as IT engineers to dedicate themselves to what they loved: choosing and distributing those fantastic stories born from the extraordinary minds and hands of popular north American culture. In time, Devir has brought together a group of European and American professionals that love other marvelous things that make people happy: role-playing games, collectable card games, graphic novels, and board games. In turn, that idea from 1987 became the largest Spanish, Portuguese and Catalan publisher of modern board games, and a cultural reference for comics in Brazil and Portugal.
